Body image ponderings.
I see a lot of “there are different types of beauty” and “everybody is beautiful in their own way” things floating around, but I think that misses the point.
Not everyone is physically attractive. What needs to be stressed more often is that IT’S OKAY TO BE UNATTRACTIVE.
If your facial features aren’t arranged in an aesthetically pleasing manner, THAT IS OKAY. You don’t owe it to anyone to be beautiful, you should be able to be happy with yourself no matter what your face or body looks like.
